Can't imagine they played such sort set even for a festival... but I've never seen or heard more than those five so far.

Also think it can be hard for them to top the Turn 21, Spend the Night era. They are just so great. That doesn't mean that I won't love other albums. Both Gold Medal and Bitchin' was great. Every bands has their own greatest era. AC/DC has the Let there be rock and Powerage period. Status Quo...

The Runaways sure had a much faster and crazier rider than the Donnas and sadly the burned out very quickly. The Donnas background is very solid and I wonder if you can have better ground to build a band on. They could grow into their fame more slowly and with both feets on the ground at all...

What do you guy think of Brett's sideproject, The Stripminers? Not my usual thing perhaps but I still think they sounds pretty cool. Just bought their 7" vinyl in a few different colors. :) Can also recommend their CD single with No Luck and my favorite, Better than a song...

Can't believe it's over 3 years now since I last saw the band. Hultsfred Festival isn't a favorite of mine, not anymore anyway. But for the donnas I'll go even if I have to pay a small fortune for a one day ticket with no other interesting band than the donnas on the bill.

This was a fun show. Went to Amsterdam over the weekend just to see the donnas. Got to meet Sven and Elvis again and some other donnaholics. Overall a great experience even though it was a lot of waiting lol.

My very first Donnas show! :) Also the first time I got to meet the band. It was some signing thing in a record store a few hours before the show. Got a lesson by Allison on how to open a vinyl without tearing the protecting plastic apart. Looked so easy when she did it but I failed miserably...

It has been over a year now without any new shows. Think that's some kind of a record for the band. The good thing is that the break gave me time to revamp the site, and have it ready, for new tours and stuff. :)

Cool, was this the gig when one of the former Ramones guys was a guest DJ for the party after the show? Remember my German friends Elvis and Sven told me about it when we met in Amsterdam the day after.
